The album "Portrait In Blue" is the newest release from the New Jersey based band, The Blind Tellers. In an effort to pay homage to and also branch out from their influences of traditional blues and folk music, these five songs touch on the lesser-known acoustic side of the band. The tracks are laid out to conceptually build a storyline within the lyrics of these ostensibly unrelated songs, while the music slowly evolves around it. All tracks were recorded in a live setting to preserve an authentic, natural feel, just as it has always been with this truly great American music.
